Federalism: An Introduction

Oxford University Press, 2008

This book is now in 25 languages with some 100,000 to 200,000 copies in print, probably the most published modern book on federalism.  In addition to commercial editions in several major languages, it has been brought out in editions sponsored by aid agencies and international NGOs, sometimes in several of a country’s languages for wide distribution during a constitutional transition process.
